Stephanie Howe | Looking Back & Moving Forward

Share the trail love:

Stephanie Howe has been a top ultrarunner for a decade. She’s achieved great things in the sport including winning one of the world’s most important races, the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, which she did in 2014. While she’s been on the top for a long time, Stephanie has also been through some tough challenges both in her personal and athletic life. Last year, 2019, was a particular tough year for her as she went through both a surgery and a divorce and all the psychological and emotional pain that came as a result. We talk a lot about what she learned from such a shitty year and how she feels she’s emerged a better and stronger version of herself. Stephanie recently announced that she’s expecting a baby boy in 2021, so we also spend a lot of time discussing motherhood and how it will relate to her future as an athlete. This one is full of good vibes.
