Set against the stunning backdrop of Palisades Tahoe, CA, TrailCon kicks off with an exciting preview event, “A Taste of TrailCon,” on June 26, 2024. This sneak preview promises energetic panel discussions, networking opportunities, and a glimpse into the dynamic spirit of TrailCon. Mark your calendars for the main event, as TrailCon takes Palisades by storm on June 24 and 25, 2025, delivering two days of unparalleled insights, connections, and excitement.
Nestled between the iconic Broken Arrow Skyrace and Western States 100, TrailCon harnesses the energy of these premier races to create a transformative experience. From trail aficionados to industry titans, TrailCon welcomes all voices to shape the future of trail running on a global scale.
TrailCon is the brainchild of three partners:
Brendan Madigan: A local Tahoe resident and owner of the 49-year-old speciality retailer Alpenglow Sports, Brendan brings a wealth of independent experience to the TrailCon discussions as the event creator and race director of Broken Arrow.
Dylan Bowman: Pro runner and CEO of Freetrail, Dylan is a driving force behind trail industry media and co-race director of Gorge Waterfall and The Big Alta events.
Doug Emslie: With three decades of event expertise and a passion for running, Doug is the majority owner of Raccoon Media Group, organizer of the Boston Run Show and the Boston Outdoor Show.
A Taste of TrailCon begins at 3pm on June 26, 2024, featuring a captivating panel discussions and thought-provoking insights from industry luminaries. This will be followed by a networking event.
